Maximum supported RAM with YDL4.0

Hi,

I installed YDL 4.0 on my Power Mac G5 desktop (Dual Processor, 6 GB
RAM). The OS recognizes only 1.97 GB (as seen in 'top'). Is this the
limit with which YDL is supposed to work? I remember seeing some where
that the Linux can handle upto 32GB of RAM.
