Upgrading GIMP to 2+

Where you at? I'm doing the same, and was able to clear up 
dependencies to work around all compile errors until now: I get an 
undeclared variable compiling vtefc.c as part of gnome-system-tools. 
It's probably an easy fix but I've been too lazy to track it down yet.
