Powersave on LCD Studio Display?

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how to enable the powersave mode on my 15" LCD studio 
display? It works fine on my old B+W 17" studio display. I've enable 
"Display Power Management" in screensaver-properties-capplet, but I 
still get alot of light from the display when it's supposed to be 
"off".  I assume I've got to configure/enable something in my 
XF86Config, but I'm not sure what!
