Yellowdog Linux vs. Power Mac G4/G5

Hi Bill,

Do you specifically need YDL 2.3?  The latest release is 3.0.1, and=20
it's stable "like a rock" for me.  Also, there's 4.0.  It's=20
supposed to be coming out "real soon now".


Is there something about YDL 2.3 that you specifically need?

PS This doesn't affect you, since you are only interested in G4 or=20
better, but for the benefit of those listening in: YDL 4.0 won't=20
"officially" support OldWorld Macs (Pre G3) -- but some highly=20
respected folks in the community have stated their intentions, once=20
it's released, of providing a FAQ for getting 4.0 to run on=20
OldWorld machines.
