MPlayer - configuring

A stupid question -- I built Mplayer with no problems -- but I can't get it to play streamed video (it will play streamed audio). I added codecs for rp8 and rp10 to no avail.

My question is how do you enable and disable drivers as Dr. Sacco talked about?

Perhaps the problem is my video card (Nvidia). Should I download linux driver from nvidia? I have a G4.

Thanks for any help of suggestions!

Sorry, I sent this to Dr. Sacco's email by mistake.
