peculiar date in YDL.net/enhanced "Welcome back" message

I sent the enclosed to "support at ydl.net" (The recommended address for 
questions about the YDL.net enhanced website) about a week ago.  I've 
received no reply. zero. nada. not even a "Thank you for your question. 
  We're all out of town until 2011, but we'll get back to you when we 
return."

Anybody got a clue as to why this happens?
