Howto use Xnest

On my box xhost :1 returned:
xhost: unknown address family ""
xhost:  bad hostname ":1"

But the debain x86 boxes in our CSCI instruction lab have this command 
in their launcher menu, and it worked.

gdmflexiserver --xnest
