[ydl-gen] Firstboot failed on G3 with SCSI drive

Sorry that I can't be of much help with your problem. However I can  
safely say that I regretted installing YDL on my Mac Mini although  
the installation was flawless. After that, I've had numerous problems  
like video, sound, apps behaving so badly I had to use the terminal  
and sometimes reboot to shut them down. I've tried many distros so  
I'm not speaking out of frustration when I say migrate to another  
distro if you can like Ubuntu or Kubuntu where the support is far  
greater and the distros are getting better all the time. Also on the  
plus side, these distros offer a bootable iso image
so you can safely try them out first.
