[ydl-gen] cd and dvd player crashing

Two things just for fun, since I don't know much about eMac's.

  1. As root, try to mount the CD by hand and see if you can
access the data. From a terminal window with root access:

          mkdir /mnt/cdrom [ENTER]
          mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom [ENTER]
          ls /mnt/cdrom [ENTER]

and let me know if that crashes it and if you can see the
      data on the disc.

  2. After the window with the bomb appears (I assume you can
repeat it), take a look at /var/log/messages and see if any
errors are reported. Or, open a terminal and type "dmesg".
      post up any errors.

Have fun, let us know the results...
