[ydl-gen] YellowDogLinuX installation

hi,
 










 I  finally installed Linux on my ps3, and i think i have a problem   with it. I went to the log in screen typed root then my password   and then startmp then enter then startx and the screen went blank  and i had to restart the ps3 i tryed switching them same thing   happened? what  i should doo?
