Warren,

That's certainly odd. Maybe the little plastic hook on the ice-cube has
broken?

As to fuzzy, you running 720p? I have a Samsung 940bw, and it's a bit fuzzy
as well, due to scaling from 720p to what my Samsung truly displays.

Thanks Dave (and Jima)!

I'll try it when I get home. The cable actually goes to a router, so the
auto-MDIX is probably not the issue (in answer to Jima). I have had some
trouble with the cable making contact on the powerbook, so I have deferred
this a little until I did some more testing (the fuzzy screen issue is more
important to me at present). I found that the PS3 gameos would not recognize
the ethernet port either, but it worked fine with my wireless connection.
I'll move the system closer to the router and try a different (working)
cable first (the cable I am using goes through a wall). I am looking forward
to a wireless connection when TSS gets the driver.

Thanks for your help.

Warren (-wn),

The network install on my PS3 seems flaky as well. I've found information
on the web that I think the problem may be ipv6.

Don't know if the problem is a router, hub, etc.

Try this (though I haven't tested this yet).

Look for ipv6 in /etc/sysconfig/network and change it to no.

Please let me know if this works, if it doesn't, I'll have to find something
else.

Also, I think wireless is in beta, if you have a subscription, you can
download the beta drivers.

Dave
