Warren,

I reg'd on the IBM site and burned the ISO too. Couldn't get it to work.

I'm still having network issues. Got rid of E17 and went to KDE, and now I
can use Firefox for http, but having issues w/ ftp still.

Subject: [ydl-gen] Cell SDK

Has anyone been able to get the Cell SDK 2.0 to work on the PS3? I
downloaded it and installed some of the rpms, but there is supposedly
an installation script which might not work on YDL 5. In particular,
it seems to install an "improved kernel" (2.6.18) which is more
recent than the one that comes with YDL 5. I am interested in the IDE
and the Cell simulator, both of which are components of the SDK. I
realize that some of the compilers for the SPEs are part of the YDL 5
initial install, but I was wondering whether one can use the full SDK
(the PS3 is not mentioned in the docs for the IBM SDK, though Fedora
is mentioned).

Thanks.
