Sorry about not following up, Paul.

Turns out my AP is too old to support WPA (even with firmware upgrade).
I'm kinda dragging my feet in purchasing a new one because I don't
really need it.  I leave my AP open and enforce security through an
authentication scheme (that way, the data is encrypted before it hits
the wireless NIC).

I'll see if I can bum one off somebody and give it a try.  Again, sorry
for the delay in getting back to you.
