[ydl-gen] Kernel hacking

And it is that hard to install SDK3 on YDL ?
I've been using Gentoo Linux for all my systems for a couple of years
and I've always thought installing something even if not directly
supported by the distribution should be easy. Is this not the case
with YDL?
