[ydl-gen] wi-fi connection

If I try to access rhe net via Wicd, it always says "not connected". I use static DNS, giving the address of the modem and, as secondary DNS, 0.0.0.0.Should I use global DNS? or should I fill the DNS3 field ? In this case, with what?
If anyone can help, it would be greatly apprciated.
