[ydl-gen] wi-fi connection (angelo_da_re)

I tried to connect with Wicd, but it was impossible.
I then activated the network manager and I clicked on "activate": it
connected, and I was able to receive/send emails and to do the package
update (which was my priority).
But now, it wants to reconnect to the same address, which is no longer
available, since my service uses dynamic IP's.
How can I initialize the net parameters again ?
If I use "configure" from the Network Manager, it then sends errors like
"set bit rate: operation not supported", and so on.
I figure the best way to do the trick is to initialize the network
parameters again, then start Wicd, then activate the wlan interface with
check network devices.
I need a suggestion about how I can initialize the net parameters.
Thanks in advance.
