[ydl-gen] No passwords

QUESTION 1: I'd like to set up my PS3 running YDL 6 to log in with no  
password and to connect to other computers in the network that don't  
have a password.

Does anyone know how to do this?

QUESTION 2: How can I get my MacPro running OS X 10.5.6 to see the PS3.

I've been trying to get the Mac to see the PS3 for weeks with no  
success. The PS3 can see the Mac but it can't log on because the Mac  
has no password (and I don't care to give it one.) The Mac can't see  
the PS3 at all.
