BootX on PowerMac 8100

Hi,

I know YDL 2.2 does not officially support Power Mac 8100s, but I tried
anyway, since it is expected to work.. I installed BootX, but when I
restarted prior to installing YDL, I got an extension error due to BootX
and had to restart without extensions.  Can anyone tell me how to get
around this? Should I try a different version of BootX (I think the one on
the YDL 2.2 ISO is version 1.2.2)?
