Installed YDL 2.2, I have no mouse in X

Hi,

I'm a brand-newbie to Linux, but despite that fact, I somehow managed to get
YDL 2.2 installed on my Power PC 6500. The only problem I am having is that
I have no mouse when I'm using KDE or GNOME.

I had a Linux-knowledgeable friend walk me through repeated attempts at configuring
the mouse using the pico /etc/X11/XF86Config, but with no luck. I have a standard,
older single-button Apple ADB mouse. I don't know what to do next and even my
friend is stumped by this one.

Has anyone encountered this problem with YDL 2.2? I assume there is something
that the X interface does not recognize in config, but I have no idea how to
troubleshoot it from here.

Thanks for any help you can provide-

Jackie
