8500 ethernet

I have installed YDL2.2 on a 8500 Mac with 2 ethernet
cards it sees the standard Mac one fine, goes online
with it noproblems but I cant configure the other one
as the control center network option does not do
anything...

PS I installed 2.3 but it was a bit unstable and still
had the same problem
