Problems installing YDL 2.3

Hi all,

I just purchased YDL 2.3 and am having difficulty getting to the GUI 
installer off of the cd to install. I have successfully installed BootX 
and when I reboot I can select Linux which then runs the installation 
CD. I see a run of command lines but also see one that indicates that it 
cannot read the partition table. Eventually it starts to boot into 
XServer and looks like the GUI installer is going to run. I get a blue 
screen and then it indicates that XServer is going to shut down which 
then reboots me into MacOS.

My partition scheme is this:

First Partition: 8 GB HFS+ for Mac OS X
Second: 1 GB HFS +
Third: 8 GB HFS + for OS 9
Fourth: 8 GB HFS +
Fifth: 8 GB Unallocated

I am running a G3 266 Desktop Beige

Any ideas?
