From my experience you can forget about trying to load the YDL 2.3 on
the Performa (don't know about the 8500). I had to back track and load
from the 2.1 .iso (tried the 2.2 and no go too) on my 6500. The good
news is that it installed without a hitch, but I haven't tried
upgrading it yet. Good luck.

Have tried installing on separate HDs and on a partitioned HD. No
luck at

all. Either has an error when I am setting up the partitions or an
error

when I am installing the package.

Any ideas?? I am about ready to dump the whole project as I am
beginning to

doubt a running YDL actually exists.
