Frustrated Newbie

I've been able to get the YDL 2.3 (w/ 2.4 kernal) on both a 7600 and a
9600.
It is usually a scsi CDrom drive onto a ATA bus (sonnet 66) hard drive.
Maybe there is an issue with a scsi HD?
