Thanks for the advice Jay.

This is what I got back from pdisk:
(0-6 mac )
/dev/hda7 - boot drive
204801@12000245
/dev/hda8 - swap drive
262145@12205046
/dev/hda9 - linux drive
228787529@12467191

So I then boot up again and where it says:
  boot:linux
  Please wait, loading kernel...
  /pci/mac-io/ide@20000/disk@0:9,/boot/vmlinux: Input/Output error

I type:
  /pci/mac-io/ide@12000245/disk@0:7,/boot/vmlinux

And then it just hangs on "Please wait, loading kernel..."
So what do I have to do to get it to use the correct boot drive?

Cheers

Will
