Konquerer:Unknown Host

Greetings,

I have never been able to access any web sites using YDL.  

I'm using Konquerer and after typing in a URL and pressing Enter, I receive 
the msg "Unknown Host".  The web sites are well known ones such as 
www.cnn.com, www.amazon.com, etc., I carefully check the spelling, and I am 
able to access them with Internet Explorer from the Mac OS.

I edited the file /etc/resolv.conf to reflect my ISP's name server addresses, 
but that did not seem to make any difference.

I have a G3 Powerbook 2000 with OS 9, OS X, and YDL 2.1, each in its own 
partition.
