Got my cdrom working on my ibook2. /dev/cdrom should have been pointing to /dev/hdb, not /dev/hdc as it was. On my G4 it does point to /dev/hdc though. I should have looked at my dmesg first to see where the device was. Anyways got it fixed Colin
