netatalk, YDL 2.3 and user authentication issues

Okay, update.  Apt-get is suddenly cooperating just fine.  Can't explain it, 
but i'm not complaining.  Anywho, the question still remains of how to mount 
other drives on my linux box via appletalk.  Thanks!
