Help configuring my iMac

hi

i had the sound problem to, loud buzzing from speakers while in X, on my =
slot load iMac 400. The fix seems to be open kmix (in multimedia in the K=
DE menu) and turn some of the volumes down. then from the file menu choos=
e set as defaults. All those settings seem to be far to high on the iMac =
and posible there is feedback through the internal mic.

Not to sure about the keyboard, you could try adding the KCharSelect appl=
et to the KDE Panel, but that will only help in KDE.
