I'm kindof a newbie at compiling the kernel under Linux so I
decided to come and ask my question here. I'm currently using
the 2.4.20-pre9-ben0 kernel obtained from ppckernel.org, and I'd
like to add/compile support for my 3COM 3C905 PCI 10/100 card
(the default YDL kernel that I used worked fine, but this new
benh kernel doesnt see it, so im using a 10Mbit card now). I'd
also like to add support for smbfs so I can mount SMB drives.
What do I need to do to accomplish this?
