somehow i have really messed it all up - when i boot up, no new
problems (a couple that have been there since the start though, that
aren't fixed: on booting there are a couple of fails:
one is depmod, lib/modules/2.2.19lr
(not sure what this module does or why it isn't there or loading)
other is mount:fs type tmpfs not supported by kernel
can anybody explain these things?)
but----
now i can't log into any xserver. the yellowdog automatic root login
goes through to the x server login, but any of these (gnome, kde,
default or failsafe) just goes through the same cycle: blue, lighter
blue, then back to the login panel. i can't even get to a terminal,
it just keeps restarting the x server.
if i quit, on the shut down process it fals to kill the x server
(can't remember it's actual name right now..)
help me ...
