Troubles & more troubles getting Opera

	It wasn't at all clear to me at

http://www.opera.com/download/get.pl?platform=linux&force=6.03

which opera I should get. So I downloaded two,

opera-6.03-20020813.1-static-qt.i386.rpm

and also

opera-6.03-20020813.3-shared-qt.i386.rpm

and tried running rpm -Uvh on each. Both get dependency failures,
one naming only ld-linux.so.2, and one naming that and one other
thing.

	I ran google on ld-linux.so.2, found places to download it
that would let me connect, and ended getting all of

glibc-2.1.3-21.dcs.1.i386.rpm

	-- but when I tried rpm -Uvh on that, I got screenful after
screenful of dependency errors!

	It can't possibly be this bad! What do I need to do
instead??
