How much disk space is really required?

bit late maybe but I dont read this list every day,,

Install in portions, first dump in the minimum system, text only, make shure
everything works (can start up from the hard disk) then try again with the
cd or apt-get the rest, bit messy but you learn a bit in the process too.


I did install YDL 2.3 on a 1.7 gig partition this way.

as for speed, mac os 8.6 is a lot faster on a 604..
