YDL/Mandrake release timing

I had similar problems -in my iBook 500 mhz 192 MB Ram- but worked them
out using
install-gui gui-old video=atyfb128 (rage128)
After that all worked fine. 9.1 fells good (much better than 8.2) but I
think I still consider YDL as top distro for Apple computers.
