install Linux on disk image

Instead of buying Virtual PC, it seems that I could
just use RedHat Linux on the Wintel emulator from
OpenOSX:
http://www.openosx.com/wintel/index.html

Has anyone had good or bad experiences with Wintel or
with OpenOSX? I wonder how slow it is.
