No ADB mouse - Maybe hardware issue?

Hello guys.

I have finally installed YDL but and older version (CS 1.2) I own a Powermac
7600. 96Mb Ram and 1 MB Cache size. Could not install a 2.x version : (

I have two issues:
1) No adb mouse. When starting up linux says (No mouse configured).
2) Startx is not working, maybe because needs a mouse for the interface?

I have tried the following:

# rpm -Uvh mouseconfig-4.0.6.ppc.rpm

#/usr/lib/yi/mouse.py
#/dev/input/mice
#/dev/mouse

All of them without success. What could be wrong? Hardware issue? My mouse
works perfect under Mac OS.

Any help highly appreciated!
