... apt ... from behind firewall???

Anyone know how to configure "apt" to connect from a firewall/proxy??? 

I've set the "web-browsing" Proxy (also ftp) ports and can surf etc..., will apt just work the same???

Also, is there a new XFree86 release/rpm from YDL??? 

(I'm STILL having "X" problems with my PCI Radeon and Mitsubishi Diamond Pro)
