YDL 3 on iMac DV SE

I also have YDL 3 on an iMac DV an Ihad the same problem with KDE but 
not with the default Gnome. There was feedback because all outputs and 
inputs where wide open. I used the sound/volume control panel to reduce 
the gain on the line input and the mic.
