multiple displays

X-windows supports multiple monitors. maybe you should experiment with 
changing the DISPLAY environment variable to the other display. From a 
terminal window type for example "export DISPLAY=station_name:0.1", with 
   station_name the name of your computer (could be "export 
DISPLAY=station_name:1.0" I don't remember well).
Every window opend from this terminal should go to the other monitor 
(type for example xterm and see what happens).
