If you take a look at the "Is it possible" thread they've been discussing 
just this!  For my 2p I say partition 100Mb with HFS using the Mac disk 
tool and install the MacOs on that, leave the remaining space 
"unallocated".  When installing YDL further partitioning will be something 
like: XMb for swap space (where X is at least equal to your RAM), and have 
the rest as ext3 with the mount point /
