This may nto be much of an answer, but if you re-do an install over 
existing partitions, the instructions say that YDL will NOT install 
packages.  This happened to me.  Apparently the first install stopped 
for some reason, but subsequent ones stop because its trying to prevent 
you from inadvertently over-writing an existing install.  Go back and 
delete and re-make the partitions next time you begin the install.  
Worked for me - and nothing seemed to work for me :-)

ps: anyone have an answer to my screen question: how do I make it size 
correctly for my LCD on an G4?  Right now I can look at 1/3 of the 
desktop at aa time, and need to scroll around to the edges.  YDL 2.3 by 
the way.
