Airport setup error message -- airport extreme?

Hi all. I've been trying to get Airport working under YDL 3.0 on a
PowerBook G4 12 inch with an Airport Extreme card. I've been following the
tutorial posted to this list the other day at this address:

http://yellowdoglinux.com/support/solutions/ydl_2.3/airport24.shtml

Things work great until I get up to the step where I run /sbin/modprobe
airport. When I try that, I get the following error messages:

/lib/modules/2.4.20-8d/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/airport.o: init_module:
No such deviceHint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module
parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters. You may find more information
in syslog or the output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8d/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/airport.o: insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8d/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/airport.o
failed/lib/modules/2.4.20-8d/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/airport.o: insmod
airport failed

Could it be that airport.o is simply the wrong driver, since I have an
Airport Extreme card, or should the driver work for either one? Has anyone
else run into this problem?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Alex Hertzog
