2.3 install blank out at outset

I may be able to shed some light on this for you. No pun intended. I had the
same problem, but realized that, after turning up the light on the LCD, YLD
appeared before me ready to go. Well, almost ready to go. I had a little
video trouble after that. Oddly enough, I had to hit the DIMMER key to get
the light to shine brighter. Go figure. Good luck to you.  : )
