Last plea with a MDD PowerMac

Following up on my earlier question: I can't get yellowdog to install on my
mirrored drive door (2002) PowerMac, dual 1GHz. It gets to the line

Running /sbin/loader

And freezes. I have disconnected all added hardware to no avail. The
suggestion I received earlier was that it might be bad RAM; I tried each of
my three DIMMs separately, with exactly the same result. I can't believe all
three are bad, or I'd be getting errors in OS X.

I guess I'm not really expecting help at this point because I know others
have gotten it to work on this system. But if anybody has any thoughts I
would certainly appreciate it.
