There is an Problem to Install YDL 3.0 on an OldWorld PPC 7300 (G3 Works...)
There is a PCI Formac Symbios (sym53c8xx) Card.
There were no problems with YDL 2.3 with the vmlinux 2.2 Kernel.
- Installing direktly on the concerned HD (4GB) through this card.
But now happens the following :
Booting with BootX 1.2.3 (1.2.2 works also) Kernel vmlinux 2.4. . .
. -8boot, Ramdisk 40MB . . .
the sym53c8xx Driver is loaded short before the further installing
procedure. No Problem to install
YDL 3.0 on this disk.
After installing and restarting the system can't find the HD which works
under the Formac Symbios 53c8xx card.
CD Drive, internal and external HD are found by the included Linux drivers.
