Ive got yellowdog running! wheeeeeeeee!
A have a few questions.
I have a powerpc 7500/100 about 180 MB ram and=20
i just put in a NEWERTECH Maxpowr G3 266/133 upgrade card.
Everyting works fine, but i understand i need to activate the cache on =
the processor?
How do i do that in yellowdog? And how do i do that in mac os 8.5?=20
Mac OS 8.5 tells me that the processor is running at 297 (or 279, ill =
check) mhz.
But in yellowdog linux the Os tells me it is only running at around 200 =
MHZ?
And yellowdog says it can not initialise the sound, does that happen =
often with the 7500 ppc?
