Hi,

I would like to be able to get both bluetooth and irda (ok, well at
least irda) working on my powerbook pismo g3.
I have used yum update and my /boot directory has vmlinux-2.4.20-8d in
it (how do I verify the exact version, just look at msgs at boot?)

I understand that I have to rebuild the kernel. KPilot doesn't seem to
see my irda port with the installed kernel.

where does kernel source come from? Does yellowdog use the same kernel
as other distributions? Where can I find the source for the latest? are
there prebuilt kernels that I can use for bluetooth and/or irda?

What about bluez and irda-lib? Where can I get these packages for
yellow dog 3 or do I need to build them myself?

Thanks for any directions or assistance.

Ima
