i am (was) trying to run linux on a flat panel imac, and when i tried to 
install it using the graphical interface i quite frankly couldnt read it 
because it was having problems displaying it, so i i used the other install 
option and it worked, then when i logged in it displayed the kernel (is this 
normal?), and i couldnt figure out what to do, on top of this it woldn't let 
me get back into mac os x and my computer was unusable, i had to relnstall 
os x and erase my internal hard drive (the one that hed linux on it) to get 
back to os x
