Video Settings and searchable list

I'm looking for information regarding my video settings. I have a G4 450 
AGP Stock. I can' seem to get the video to give me anything but 640x800. 
I had better when I was running 2.3 YDL, now running 3.01. I aslo forgot 
and set the boat setup to go strat to the GUI and now I can't seem to 
the to the XF86 Config file to alter the settings.

Also is there a searchable list where I could find information like this 
more quickly, that would be a great help.
