Apple Powerbook G4 12'' Installation?

Hi there,

I'm completely new to YellowDog, so that's why I'm writing to this list...:-)

I bought a completely new Powerbook G4 12'', and now I'm trying to setup
YellowDog-Linux.
I have the problem, that I can only see strange pixels on my display...it
looks like a looking-glass over the GUI. If I attach an external monitor,
I can see the normal Installation-GUI.
So, I wanted to know, if this is normal, or if there's a solution?
