ibook keyboard: can't write @[]#

HEllo, I've searched over and over the internet and yellowdog support 
to solve the problem of the ALT / ALTGR key of apple laptop, which is 
NOT working under YDL.

I've tried all the hacks reported on the YDL site - like adding the 
line key 125 as ALTGR in the it2.map (I'm using an italian qwerty 
keyboard).
No way.

Is there anyone who can help me?
I may send him a kilo of parmesan cheese as reward :-))
